Help Barbi Fight Stage 3 Breast Cancer

One of my best friends, Barbi Pannone, was recently diagnosed with Nuclear Grade Invasive Ductal Carcinoma, Breast Cancer. She owns a popular diner in Loganville, Georgia which both her and her husband, Rich, run practically by themselves. As it has been getting more popular, I try to help them out, as they have no employees.

The restaurant not only has to pay its own bills, but their house bills too, which it does under normal circumstances. But Barbi’s circumstances are no longer anything close to normal. Due to many doctor appointments, the restaurant is opening late some days, closing early others, and sometimes closed for the entire day.

Her chemo will be starting very soon and once it does, she may be too sick or weak to come in for days in a row. Then there is the burden of the out-of-pocket medical expenses. Once chemo is complete, she will have a double mastectomy, which too will keep her out of work for at least a few weeks. Rich will be at her side for every appointment, treatment, and surgery.

These are hard working dedicated people who invested everything they had into what is now known as “Barbi-Q’s” after Rich lost his job due to COVID.
