Help Alex and his Dad with Hospital Charges

My 17 year old son, Alexander, had a serious motor scooter accident in March in Thailand in which he sustained multiple fractures to his legs and left hip. Also, the ligaments in his left knee were all torn and there was also nerve damage to the leg. He was in a private hospital (Bangkok Hospital, Khon Kaen, north eastern Thailand) because the local government hospitals were giving priority to corona virus cases and he would also have been at risk in such an environment. Alex had 3 operations, the first of which was to save his left leg from having to be amputated, requiring an extended stay in hospital. He has now been at home for 4 months going through a process of rehabilitation and recovery and getting around on crutches and in a wheelchair which have enabled him to go to school. The fractures have healed sufficiently, but fibrosis is restricting movement and flexibility of the left knee resulting in the need for another operation to deal with the fibrosis. He is due to have the operation shortly. Later, he will need another operation for the reconstruction of the knee ligaments.
The hospital charges to date have depleted my savings. I still owe the hospital 400,000 Thai baht (9,800 pounds sterling, approx) and the estimated cost of the fibrosis operation is 200,000 Thai baht (4,900 pounds sterling approx). Can you help Alex and his dad? I’m urgently asking for any contribution you can make to help cover the cost of his next operation and help pay the amount owed to the hospital.
