On August 29th, 2017, Hellen Maria Hernandez was tragically taken from us too soon. We are still grappling with how such a beautiful person can be taken away in a violent manner. (http://abc7ny.com/woman-found-dead-with-rosary-beads-stuffed-down-throat/2357367/). Unfortunately, we lost an angel as she was such a good person and a joy to be around. She would give you the clothes off her back just to keep you warm. She would sing "Hero" to help you find your inner strength. Words aren't enough to express the heartbreak and void our family is feeling.Our family will never be the same, because she was the glue that always reminded us to stick together no matter what.
In the wake of this tragedy three angels were left shattered with the lost of their mom, whom they love and miss dearly. Hellen was a great daughter, sister, cousin, friend and a doting mother, who would do anything for her boys (Hassan 17, Tariq 11, and Jaden 10 years old). Sadly, the family is unable to cover expenses for the children's education, health, clothing, well being, and therapeutic activities adequately.
We are raising money to help Hellen's parents support and assist the children. Please find it in your heart to provide any assistance. May God bless Hassan, Tariq, Jaden and their grandparents during this struggle. Unfortunately, nothing can make the pain go away however the kindness of your giving will certainly contribute to easing some of the financial burdens of our family. We are open to any options and suggestions that you may have. May God look over Hellen's parents as they raise these three young angels.
