Healing Cassidy (17-year-old)

Cassidy is a beautiful 17-year-old girl who was on a motor scooter and was struck from behind by a drunk driver. The driver, who is an illegal immigrant from South Africa here in the states for the last 6 years on an expired visa, was so intoxicated and going so fast he said he didn't even know he had hit her. She was stuck under his car and was dragged for almost 100ft before he came to a stop with the car still on top of her. When the medics and police arrived they treated it as if it was a homicide. When she got to the hospital the doctors gave her less than a 1% chance to live. They rushed her to surgery and was able to stop the internal bleeding and she had more broken bones than whole bones. She spent 11 days on life support and is healing miraculously. She was finally moved from ICU after 21 days and 8 surgeries where she then spent another 12 days on the ortho-spine floor. She still has 22 broken ribs in 2 places each, broken collar bone and scapula in 5 places, a broken pelvis in 6 places, including both hips, a full thickness burn on her leg that will need a muscle and skin graft. Multiple cuts and broken bones in her face and scars on her head where the surgeons sewed her scalp back on, that she will need cosmetic surgery to fix later down the road, along with road rash, multiple 2nd & 3rd-degree burns, and several cuts covering more than 50% of her body. She has just recently been moved to a rehabilitation hospital to start regaining her strength and getting her young life back to what will now be her new normal. She still has a very long road to recovery, and any donation to help the family cover her healing process is greatly appreciated no donation is too small.
