Hi my name is Geneva Mitchell and I am a 47 y.o. Woman who has been diagnosed with Colorectal Cancer. Today is a much better day than the past several days...this Cancer fight isn't easy yet each day I exist I'm given the opportunity to beat it.
Last Tuesday, I started another round of chemo treatment which is the 5th drug I've taken since being diagnosed in 2012. This journey hasn't been easy. I'm holding firm...but I admit I've had a very emotional 2 weeks. You see fighting cancer is not like fighting a cold, a breakup, a job loss etc...You Physically go thru it...your body goes through so much more..So Thinking Positive is not always gonna make your day. You see, I've tried every chemo known for Colorectal Cancer and I'm still fighting the fight and with every blood test, with every CT Scan I keep hearing the same thing...there's been an increase in size and your #s are high...
In the beginning I didn't want to know my stage. I just found out that my original diagnosis was Stage 3B. Today I am stage IV Metastasis which means the Cancer has spread to both my lungs and liver.
Like I stated earlier I'm on my 5th round of chemo. I thought after going to The Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Chicago that I would be in remission well I'm not…this stubborn disease progressed. Still with each day I pray, meditate and give thanks for another day I'm ready to rid this beast from my being.
Recently I received a partial scholarship to attend the Living Foods Institute in Atlanta GA to to attend their 10 days program that I know will save my life. It is a Healing and Educational Center devoted to helping people heal from any disease, no matter how serious. The Programs help slow and reverse aging, restore and optimize great health with positive mental thinking, emotional healing, stress management, cleansing and detoxification and the optimum Organic, Vegan, Raw and Living Foods Nutrition for specific needs. They work with each and every person to develop and individualized a Program that will help them the most. They believe in holistic healing of the body, mind and spirit and in using the best nutrition available including an Organic, Vegan Diet of enzyme-rich Raw and Living Foods. We teach how and why Organic, Vegan, Raw and Living Foods help a person achieve optimum health and slow aging.
This is my mega phone call for help to all my friends, family and Acquaintances.. I have to pay the remaining balance due, plus my room & board and transportation. With your help I pray for this opportunity to attend and begin to rid the poisonous chemicals from my body and create new cells of longevity.
