Welcome! HeadSpace's 2018 fundraiser is all about DREAMING BIG. Our vision is rooted in bringing dreams to reality through our ever-widening community of Dreamers, Artists, Engineers, & Visionaries like yourself. We are in our 3rd year bringing this magical art machine to the playa, and your help and participation is indispensable!! You are truly what makes HeadSpace move. Here is what we have in store for HeadSpace this year, and what your efforts and support will go directly towards:
· Upgraded HD Recording/Electrical System: Last year due to some technical issues we were not able to capture any of the amazing DJ sets you heard on the car. Over 50 artists from 4 different continents graced the decks last year including Artists like Nicky Genesis/Touvan, Secret Sessions, Yor Kultura, Mike Von Gold, & Crescent Doll. This year we are upgrading and rewiring our internal electrical system to make communication between the audio system/ DJ booth and the master control boards seamless. We are excited to be able to bring the music back to the artists and tap back into those magical moments on playa through the best memory provocateur, music.
Accessible To All: Wheelchair accessibility has been one of our missions’ from day one. We are building an all new custom air spring suspension sytem to achieve this mission!!! With the new suspension system in place, our wheelchair ramp will be fully functional and inviting to those who are mobility impaired.
Transportation: We transport HeadSpace 1684 miles each year to get to BRC. We incur a $4800.00 expense to do this.
Head Dress: Our new HeadSpace Headdress will be in full effect this year! 9 black & white flags installed on the crest of the head, uplit and flying high. HeadSpace gets a proper crown this year.
New Exterior Wall Lighting: our panels will be lit and emanating a colorful glow from the outside making HeadSpace more visible at night.
