He Lost The Fight Too Soon But Never Gave Up!
Don protégé
Many of you know Adam as AG Landscaping, Jenny Fund Fundraiser, Nashua High School Outstanding Basketball Player, with records probably still not broken in the State of NH, an organizer of Superbowl Pools, and someone who has given his all to so many nonprofit fundraising efforts in the community. Well, I know him as all of that too, but I mostly know him as my big brother, Ardy, and love him with all my heart!
The nonprofit closest to his heart, the Jenny Fund, was formed to bring awareness to brain cancer, and raise monies for brain cancer research, at Massachusetts General Hospital in memory of his niece, Jen Gureckis. Jen and Adam had a special connection as they shared something in common - fighting cancer! And Jen always told him to fight like hell, and she is telling him that again now!
Many of you know Adam's journey with fighting cancer. He was first diagnosed with prostate cancer over 15 years ago, and he beat that! Then came bladder cancer, and he beat that too! Then came ureteral cancer, which he was on the road to keeping that stable until today when he found out that his cancer had grown and spread again. So today, he was asked if he wanted to fight like hell, and you all know what he said! But first, he must get well enough to be able to continue his fight. Please pray for him to get stronger every day so he can start that fight again!
My brother is a good person, and this just should not happen to good people! I want him to be able to concentrate on getting better and not worry about the medical bills coming in and not being able to work. Even with insurance, the medical expenses have piled up over these last few years, and with his recent hospitalizations and upcoming treatment and care, they will continue to climb. I just want him to not have to worry about that.
As you imagine, this is a very trying and emotional time for Adam, his wife Beverly, and sons Craig and Aaron, and I know they, and all of his family and friends, are hurting by this news. He just wants some more time to be with his family and all of you, and I know everyone that knows and loves him wants that too!
Would you please send prayers and consider a donation to Adam, which will go towards his medical expenses as he begins this fight again!
Prayers and words of encouragement for Adam would also be so appreciated by all of us!
Adam loves all of you, but I think you all already know that!
Thank you so much!
