Harrison's Cancer Treatment

Donation protected

Harrison was born on February 17th 2018. I met him in December of the same year. My wife wanted me to buy him, but I was hesitant. I was stressed, depressed and the last thing I needed was another life to worry about. That all the changed as I spent more and more time with him and his original owner.

What really sealed it was the day I let Harrison freewalk at night. He could have gone anywhere he wanted, I walked behind him to make sure he didn't put himself in danger. He led me right to the spot where we play chase with each other, lept up on my legs and let out a bark (tag your it) then ran away from me while looking behind at me with his big corgi grin.

I decided then and there I want to open up to him. We became great friends. I took him to classes so we could learn how to talk to each other. He was supposed to start agility training next, but the pandemic hit. I thought we could start after it was over, now his very life is in danger. Harrison caught lymphoma on the 28th of April 2021, he's 3... the average corgi lives to be around 12. He doesn't deserve this, he has so much more to see and to discover.

I'm scared and frustrated. Cancer is nothing new to me, I've helped family members who have gone through it, but those were adults whom I have never felt responsible for. I have protected Harrison from other dogs and from his own adventurous spirit. I'm always there for him, but this time it doesn't matter. I can't pry the cancer out of him like the jaws of a dog or feed him chicken n rice until he gets better.

I'm putting all my savings into helping him. He's young so I'm hoping that will translate into a fighting spirit. As long as Harrison isn't miserable and he's willing to fight I will be right there with him. I'm not sure how long I can hold out and may still fail despite redistributing my financial obligations.

I hope I can find some good people out there that can help me. I will post videos on my Youtube channel and post pictures on my Facebook of him. I can also do small side projects for money. I do have video editing and photoshop experience. I will do whatever I can to get him what he needs until either the cancer gives up or Harrison does. Please I realize it's been a hard for a while, but if you have anything you can spare, even if it's essentially pocket change... I would appreciate any help you can give.

Thank you for your time and I wish you all the best in the future.
