Haley's White Horse Ranch Scholarship

Meet Haley. Ever since she was a little girl, Haley has dealt with a perplexing set of mental health challenges that make social life a struggle. School has been an especially difficult arena even though she is bright and academically competent. As Haley came into her adolescence, her challenges reached a crisis point. She is no longer able to attend public school. Her family has searched extensively for the appropriate help for this young lady, and they found it just recently at White Horse Ranch.
THE GOOD: At White Horse, Haley lives with 15 other girls. Free of the distractions of home and public school, She can study and attend 20-40 hours per week of therapies. She will live there for 90 days right now, but she has the option to stay as long as she needs. The most important part of this rehabilitation is the widely renowned Equine Assisted Psychotherapy, which can help a child restore confidence and build social skills, in addition to many other benefits.
THE BAD: When Haley's parents chose White Horse for their daughter, their insurance agreed to cover her care. That is no longer the case, and Rob and Alexi are now responsible for the entire tuition out of pocket. The first 90 days will cost $12,000.
THE PLAN: Because they truly believe that White Horse is the right place for Haley, her parents took on the financial burden. As a caring auntie, I want to help them fund this opportunity to change Haley's life forever.
