Hope and help for Callen

Callen has been diagnosed with multiple immune deficiencies, which causes him to have multiple skin infections. He as well is having issues with his airway and esophagus, which causes him to aspirate his formula. He also has issues with his intestines. Currently he is unable eat anything but thin baby cereal, and sometimes he cannot tolerate that and he gags and isn't able to swallow it. He is undergoing lots of testing to determine all of his immune issues, etc. He has to travel monthly to have IVIG infusion treatments, which could go on for the rest of his life. At this time, they want to scope him every 4 to 6 weeks for the esophagus and airway issues to try and determine what is causing the problems there.
Mom had a difficult pregnancy, and lost her job when she was put on bed rest. After Callen was born and they found out about all of his issues, she was unable to return to work due to all the doctor and hospital visits and dealing with a very sick baby. Callen cannot be in daycare, as he can't be around other children with his immune system being so compromised. Mom has started working part time while Callen stays with his Nana, but the financial situation, which was already a struggle, now also involves, special dietary formula, frequent long trips for appointments, and for infusion treatments, which also requires overnight stays at hotels, lots of gas money, food, etc. and we won't even talk about the lack of insurance, broken down cars etc.
If it is placed on your heart to help this young family, which includes 7 year old big Brother, Caydon, (who by the way is so mature and understanding of the needs and sacrifices that have to be made for his baby brother) who are in a real financial bind, then bless you!!!!!
