Hello
This is our son; Dylan. Dylan is non verbal and unable to walk.
Dylan is 6 now. He has outgrown all of his equipment and needs some help.
He is determined to be as independent as possible so we need to get him into a custom wheelchair and stander/walker.
He has been testing this equipment at school and doing great. Unfortunately because of the cost; we haven't been able to apply this to his home life.
You can only imagine how difficult it is managing a little boy who wants to walk, wants to move and yet his body doesn't allow it. He is dependent on his equipment and those around him. He can't just go play in his room or get himself to his toys...as a mom, this breaks my heart. It breaks my heart even more, during this holiday time; as santa's lists are being made all over the world for the latest game , doll or toy ; I am asking for a new wheelchair and stander to allow my son the ability to do what so much of us take for granted.
