Breaking: Local girl shaves head for charity

Hi Everyone! I'm Paige - just a local girl from Brisvegas who has decided to say goodbye to her luscious locks to raise money for the Starlight Children's Foundation Australia, helping sick kids simply be kids by turning pain, fear and stress into fun, joy and laughter. Additionally, I'll donate my ponytail to Sustainable Salons an organisation that collects ponytails and distributes them to charitable organisations and local wig-makers where they can become wigs for those suffering from medically-induced hair-loss conditions such as Alopecia and cancer, or help fund other life-changing programs.  I hope that by giving up a bit of hair, I can help bring a smile to someone’s story. I’ve always thought that hair could make you feel beautiful, but I've realised that it’s the person within that matters the most. So if you can, give a little bit of yourself (even if it's only a donation) to bring a touch of happiness to the life of someone in need.
