Good Teeth for Mark

For years, Mark Wills has been bringing beauty to all of us with freely-offered photos of his island home and the flora and fauna that surround him.  Now he's in need of funds to pay for dentistry and a good set of dentures.  Mark suffers from bone degeneration that has caused him to lose many of his teeth.  The BC government offers programs to help provide dentures to low-income people but reports from those who have them tell us that they are more often than not poor quality, poorly fitted and very uncomfortable. We're aiming to raise $3000.00 which should cover a proper set of dentures, overnight trips to Prince George for dentist visits and extras needed for an interim period of no teeth (blender, etc).

Every bit helps, so if your budget is tight remember that even $5 or $10 helps to build the fund. We're starting early and hope to continue raising funds over the spring to cover the months-long process.

For those who don't know him, Mark lives on an island just outside of Prince Rupert, BC.  He shares his photographs on Facebook - Mark Wayne Wills - and on his website: MarkWayneWillsPhotography.com.  Mark lives simply in a small cabin, on a low budget, and records the unique landscape around him: the northern muskeg and rain forest, a wide variety of wildlife and birds, as well as evocative seascapes.  Sliding in sideways on the neuroatypical spectrum, Mark finds social expectations challenging and town life overstimulating; preferring instead the solitude of nature and room to roam.
