John L Golden Odyssey of the Mind Finals

The Odyssey of the Mind team from John L. Golden Elementary in Rancho Cucamonga has been invited to compete World Finals in Iowa May 28-31, 2014!!!  After 5 months of writing and building and practicing, the team won over the judges at the regional and state competitions with their hilarious Cafeteria of Terrors solution that pays homage to Alfred Hitchcock, Mr. T and lunch ladies everywhere.  We are so proud of what these kids have accomplished and the Odyssey experience has been indescribable.  Millions of kids worldwide work all year to perfect their Odyssey solutions, but only a few advance to the World Finals, representing the best of the best creative minds.  It is a life changing experience for these wonderful kids.  But Iowa is a long way away and the team and their props need your help to get there.  No donation is too small and every dime is appreciated.  Thank you for supporting these wonderful and talented Fourth and Fifth Graders.
