A Place for Teens to Come Together

Hey Everybody! We are CenterPointe Church's Ignite Youth Ministry, and we are looking to create a space in which teens can come together in a "safe space" to share our stories, ask difficult questions, and to know that we are loved by God, family and friends. Our goal as a Youth Ministry is to spread our love of God, to learn more about God, and to share our knowledge and our faith with those in the group, as well as those we connect with in our daily lives. We have lots of ideas to help others and to make our church a great place to learn about God and to connect with our peers, our families and our mentors. God has big things planned for each of us!

God is already in our hearts, but we really want to fix up the space where we come together! Due to several sump pump floodings and a limited budget, we currently meet in a space that is not teen friendly. There is mold and minerals on the walls, torn and dirty furniture, and torn up carpet and chipping paint due to the water. Our space is located in the basement of the church house next door. In addition to renovating the space itself, we are in great need of some new technology and funding for group activities and outreach programs.

We wish to make the best of this space and need your help doing so! The budget from the church is very limited and is not enough to get the job done. We want to make this happen! We want a space that we can be proud of and are eager to share what God has ignited in us. So we, the teens, the Youth ministry, are asking that you please help us raise the money for a place to come together. Just $10 dollars, or even $5, would be more than we have now and greatly appreciated!
