Sevoa's Brain Tumor Fund
Donation protected
Sevoa is 4 1/2 years old and the most amazing little girl you'll ever meet. Sevoa started having daily all-day headaches beginning in January 2014 and they just kept getting worse. After visits to the pediatrician, she was referred to Dr. Mott at Peyton Manning Children's Hospital. He then tried an antihistamine after not finding any immediate neurological issues in office. The headaches continued, so Dr. Mott recently ordered an MRI of Sevoa's brain. We just found out on Tuesday, 3/25, that she has a brain tumor on her cerebellum. It is called a pilocytic astrocytoma and is low grade and very hopeful. She is being set up with a neurosurgeon at Riley Hospital in Indianapolis soon and we'll go from there. Unfortunately we're in the waiting stages as far as treatment goes. The drive to and from Riley and home is 80 miles one-way, so gas costs will start piling up, in addition to time off work, etc. Any and all donations are so very much appreciated and will be used solely for Sevoa. If you are unable to donate monetarily, your thoughts and prayers are just as welcome. Thank you so much! Let's get our princess back to feeling awesome and smiling big!!!
With much love,
Katie
(Sevoa's mom)
P.S. I was forced to include a $$ goal amount to continue to the next page, but please know I am gracious for anything. I have no clue how much we'll really need and I'm sure I won't really know until we're there in the moment. Thanks!
