Jarry tiene 48 años, es papá de tres y esposo. Hace unos meses fue diagnosticado con un Melanoma Maligno de rápido crecimiento. En Venezuela el acceso a la salud está totalmente privatizado y aún así es imposible conseguir Pembrolizumab, para las 18 sesiones de inmunoterapia que debe aplicarse cada 21 días.
Mediante un gran esfuerzo su familia logró conseguir el tratamiento en el exterior, pero esto implica pagarlo en dólares, lo que lo hace aún más costoso desde Venezuela.
Los que conocemos a Jarry y a su familia sabemos que es honesto, trabajador y disfruta ser padre más que nada en la vida, siempre dispuesto a dar una mano a familiares y amigos. Ahora es él quien necesita esa mano. Logremos que su familia pueda seguir disfrutando de su amor y su compañía.

In Venezuela, access to healthcare depends on the private health insurance industry, as opposed to government-run healthcare programs, even though, it is impossible to get Pembrolizumab, the medication he needs for the 18 immunotherapy sessions that must be applied every 21 days.
Through a great effort, his family managed to find the medication in a foreign country, this means paying for it in dollars instead of local currency, which makes it even more expensive for them.
Those of us who know Jarry and his family, know that he is an honest person, hardworking and enjoys being a father more than anything in life, always willing to give a helping hand to family and friends.
