Ari's Invention Convention Travel

Hi, my name is Arianna.  I'm a 6th grade inventor. I received a "Recognized Inventor" award at the Connecticut State Finals on April  28th, 2018 at UConn University for my invention; The Epic Mask! What's more exciting is that I received an invitation to the National Invention Convention and Entrepreneurship Expo (NICEE – see www.stemie.org) in Dearborn, MI May 31st - June 2nd. 

My invention, The Epic Mask, is a reusable mouth/nose covering that helps prevent the spread of airborne illnesses with multiple layers of micro-filtering fabric.  It has the ability to hold breathable medicines as well. To top it all off, it’s a stylish accessory with color options and patterns that compliment any outfit! You can wear it whether you’re looking out for others or trying to prevent yourself from getting sick...

Costs to attend the conference for me and my parents is going to be:
1. Registration fee for the inventor (me) is $300
2. Parent Registration fee is $350 
3. Flight costs are looking to be around $325 each for round trip to Detroit from CT.
4. Lodging is $148 per night (* 3 nights).
