Let's Send Glenie to the Junior Olympics

We need your help!  This is Glenie's 3^rd year running with Motor City Track Club and he is doing really well in the local track meets.  He will be competing July 7-8^th at a track meet in Ypsilanti, MI to qualify for the AAU Junior Olympics.  As a Primary Runner (athletes 8 & under) he is allowed to compete in 3 events.  His events this year are the 200m dash, 400m dash, and his favorite the Long Jump.  At his last track meet in Albion, MI he beat his personal records in each of his events and jumped an amazing 13'2" in the Long Jump!  Oh, he also brought home 3 gold medalsJ. 

We would like to send Glenie to The AAU Junior Olympics this summer which will be held in Houston, TX, July 29 - Aug. 5^th.  He is really excited about competing in Houston, he even wrote about it in several of his journal assignments during the school year. Glenie qualified to compete in the Junior Olympics last year however we were not financially able to send him.  This year we have been doing little things to raise funds including cash for gold, yard sales, and returning bottles; Glenie even saves the money he gets from the tooth fairyJ. 

We are asking family and friends to help send Glenie to the Junior Olympics this year. The following is a breakdown of the costs:
