TO BRUSHWOOD, CANADA AND BEYOND! I have most of my summer tour booked with more gigs coming in all the time. It takes me all the way to Canada and back again! And this time I am excited to say I am bringing part of my AWESOME TRIBE with me ~ Lynda Millard and Nikki Combs. What a joy to have both of their immense talents along for this journey! More of my tribe means more love to share, more music to make and also more expenses to make sure everyone is taken care of. :) For example some of the things we need for this trip include Canadian Work Permits, Musicians Union memberships, GPS upgrade and extra money for international cell phone coverage and much higher gas prices. Also to take us that far we need help with car maintenance (oil leak, new breaks) and trailer work (new spare and bearing re-pak) and my suitcase zipper broke! I can't image why! I've only been using it to live out of for 4 years! Been using a rachet strap to hold it together but I think its time for a new one. ;) All of these things and more add up quick!
