Gina Salmon's Surgery Fund

Gina is my sister.  More than that she is the mother of Brittney and Brett, as well as a second mom to countless others that come to her home for daycare.

On December 8, 2015 she started acting strange, zoning out for a few moments at a time.    She and her daughter Brittney had went to the store for groceries and before they got out of the car Gina zoned out, but this time was different, she was out for over 5 minutes.  Brittney then drove her mom to the ER.

From the ER they ran test after test but were still looking for a reason, and her zoning out was found to be seizures, something that she had never had before.  They admitted her to the Neuro ICU and monitored her through the night with her seizures becoming steadily worse.  Shortly after Brittney and her mom went home to rest she had one so bad her heart stopped.  Thankfully they were able to revive her.

We found later that morning once all the test were run that she has a small tumor in her frontal lobe causing all of these problems.  The neurosurgeon is confident that he can remove the tumor and end the seizures.

Thankfully she has medical insurance to help but she has an incredibly high deductible, and since she is self employed she does not have access to short term disability while she is undergoing treatment, so her income has now stopped until she can go back to work.

We are asking for any donation possible to help pay for her deductible and living expenses.

Any amount you can give is helpful and we will be grateful for any amount we receive.  We want to make sure to keep her and her kids above water while they focus on her and her recovery.

Thank you all for your prayers and support.
