Getting Through Film School

Hello everyone! My name is MackShylo K. Turner, and I am a film student at The Los Angeles Film School (LAFS). I am going for my Associate of Science in Film. I am starting this campaign because I need your help with getting through school with tuition, school supplies, living expenses, and bills. Ever since my sophomore year in high school, I’ve gained an interest in film. In 2017, I had the honor of attending a campus tour of LAFS and knew this was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life; create and tell the stories I want to tell through film. Unfortunately, I was unable to attend due to not having a co-signer for a loan. Now, in 2020, a most difficult year, I am officially a LAFS student that is heavily involved within my studies but, I am facing the same issue once again that I faced in 2017. I would hate to not be able to complete this 18 month program due to not being able to cover tuition costs amongst other things. I’ve struggled with accepting or asking for help throughout my life, and some of you may relate, but I am putting pride aside and asking now. To everyone that’s read to the end, thank you.
