On October 9th, Gemma Gieser, the 3-year old daughter of Jim and Julianna Gieser, passed away peacefully and painlessly in her sleep. Her sudden and unexpected passing was due to a malformation of blood vessels in the brain which resulted in a massive hemorrhage. This was a congenital condition that was previously undetected.


This fund has been created to help Jim, Julianna, and younger brother Timo during their time of bereavement. Donations will be used to assist with hospital and funeral expenses, in addition to other financial needs of the Gieser Family (i.e. traveling from Colorado Springs, CO to Bloomington, IN). All financial donations are gladly accepted. Any additional funds will be donated in Gemma's memory (charity yet to be decided).




Gemma's memorial service was held on October 19th in Bloomington, IN. Thank you to all our family, friends and colleagues who attended, especially to those who traveled long distances to join us. We were so encouraged to have each and every one of you there.
