GWB Washington DC Trip

Based on a nomination by Senator Kel Seliger, The American Veteran Center, and the Music Celebration International. An official invitation has been extended to the Dalhart High School Marching Band, to preform and participate as an official representative of the state of Texas; in the National Memorial Day Parade in Washington DC, on May 27th, 2018.
Only 42 bands nation wide have been invited. Making this not only an honor, but an amazing and once in a lifetime opportunity for these kids.
The Dalhart High School Marching Band will be featured performers at either the United States Air Force Memorial, or the National World War II Memorial, for thousands of Veterans and on lookers. The National Memorial Day Parade will also be televised.
The money raised will be soley used for meals, hotels and transportation to get these these kids to a once and a life time event.
