THAILAND 2015
As many of you know the Lord has given me a HUGE heart for missions, specifically reaching the nations. This year I have been presented with an opportunity to spend 2 weeks in Thailand May 21-June 4 2015 . I am thrilled.
Located in Southeast Asia, Thailand is the 20th most-populous country in the world.
(More than 6 million people in Thailand are still living on less than $1 a day. Many children are suffering in Thailand particularly those in the poorest regions, as well as ethnic minorities and migrants. Over 9 percent of children are malnourished, and 16.7 percent of children are not fully immunized.Thailand is ranked #7 out of the top 71 countries in which children and women have been ABUSED in this decade...WOW).
I have been given the chance to share with them the love of Jesus Christ. As well as work in orphanages and aid the sick. I will be spending most of my time in an orphanage loving on the abandoned children on Bangkok. Those who are parentless, those who may have lost hope, those who may have never had anyone give them a second of their time.
“17 If we are rich and see others in need, yet close our hearts against them, how can we claim that we love God? 18 My children, our love should not be just words and talk; it must be true love, which shows itself in action.” - 1 John 3:17-18 (GNT)
I am excited to see how the Lord is going to use this opportunity in my life. In order to go to this trip, I need to develop a team of prayer and financial partners who want to partner with me to help fulfill the Great Commission aka sharing the Gospel (Matthew 28:18-20).
