2018 GHI Guatemala Mission Trip
Donation protected
We are a group of first and second year medical students at the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine and members of an organization called Global Health Initiative. This March, we will be traveling to Guatemala for one week to provide medical services to rural communities throughout areas of the country with limited access to healthcare.
Our team of medical students, residents, and physicians will be partnering with DOCARE International, a non-profit organization that provides primary medical care to underserved populations in the areas we are serving. All of the money we hope to raise will be used for purchasing the medications we will use on the trip.
We are incredibly excited for this opportunity to care for those in need while also enhancing our medical education and would greatly appreciate any support you are willing to provide!
