Funds for Tyler & Family

As everyone has seen or heard by now Tyler was in an ATV accident on October 14th where he tore a hole in his abdominal wall and perforated his bowel. At the time none of us thought his injury was that serious. We thought he just bruised his stomach. Come Tuesday October 17th, he was still having excruciating pain so we took him to the hospital where only an hour later they were rushing him into surgery. They broke the news to us and also told us infection had already set in because we waited so long to be seen by a doctor. Tyler had his surgery and the surgeon removed about 3in of Tyler's colon and then put it back together along with about a 7in incision they had to make. We thought we were on the road to recovery when a week later the surgeon came in to give Tyler the news that his stomach drains were draining stool and the bowel had opened back up. She gave him the news no 29 year old wants to hear....she was not only going to have to reopen his incision to have anothery surgery, but that surgery would be giving him a colostomy bag for 2-3 months. After 2 long weeks in the hospital Tyler was finally discharged to go home, but with a very long recovery ahead for the next few months. Tyler owns  MTS Boat Worx and like most self-employed entrepeneurs he does not have health insurance and will be out of work for at least 2 and a half months. This will leave his fiance with the only income to take care of their family and his shop bills.
