Dad's Brain Injury Treatment

My name is Britto Rossario. I come from Pondicherry (India) and
I am currently working for NetApp in Wichita, Kansas (USA). All was well in my
world till the fateful evening of October 20th 2013.
My dad (Antony Joseph) who went out on his motorbike to pick up some milk was hit by another motorcyclist. Because of heavy bleeding in the brain, he had to undergo Decompressive Craniectomy (surgery to relieve the intracranial pressure in the brain endangering his life) at Apollo Hospitals, Chennai (India). His condition has been critical since then and he is still in the Critical Care Unit (CCU) a.k.a Intensive Care Unit (ICU). He has not regained full consciousness yet and has also developed infections. Bacteria causing these infections are resistant to most of the common antibiotics. Doctors are hoping that these infections will subside soon and they can get back to work on the main neurological issues. According to the neurosurgeon,this is going to be a long and arduous path for my dad. My dad is my best friend, teacher, guide, philosopher and everything to me and my family. I want him back home for this Christmas -- cannot think of a Christmas without him. I sincerely pray that no one ever goes through a situation like this ever in their life.
In the last 3 weeks, I have spent approximately USD 17,000 toward medical expenses since my dad does not have any medical coverage. The brain injury treatment costs are high, which includes CT scans, equipment rentals (monitors and ventilator), expensive antibiotics, etc. I am anticipating that after I run out of my money reserve I will need USD 17,000 more. I humbly ask you to pray for my dad's fast recovery and to the extent possible, contribute toward my dad's medical expenses.
