Hi Everyone,
I have been asked by some of my Brother's friends to set up a Go Fund Account for him. I spoke with my Family and some of Mike's other friends and they all agreed that it was a good idea. We all know that Mike/Barney is a proud man and he is probably not going to be happy with me for doing this, but we all agree that it is time for a Giver to be the Receiver.
As most of you know, Mike needs major surgery. At this point we don't know how long he will be hospitalized, what the timeframe is for rehabilitation, home care, and/or physical therapy. What we do know is that because he is self employed, when he doesn't work, he doesn't get paid. Having to face major surgery is concerning enough. But to have to worry about medical bills, mortgage payments and everday expenses can be overwhelming.
It was only a few years ago that Mike beat the Cancer demon. With our love and support, Mike is going to get through this as well.
