What is your part? Your donation will go toward buying and planting trees that will provide food. For roughly $5 we can buy a fruit tree and plant it. For $50 we can buy and plant 10 trees! You will be effectively creating a carbon offset to benefit the entire planet, so thank you for your donation and contribution to our collective future.

As our trees begin to bear fruits in abundance, my youtube channel: Tobin Osusky will be sharing updates on progress of the food forest but also our ventures of distributing the foods to the communities in need. This began with a dream many years ago at the business Temple Qinesis, where we collected over 10 tons of clothing for the homeless population of northern New Jersey. We helped clothe so many people in need during the wicked winter months, but also redistributed/recycled amazing clothes that would've otherwise been trash; instead allowing more social and business opportunities to people without the resources to buy nice clothes. Here, we aim to do the same with foods, in a country which exports an abundance of highly nutritious fruits to the world, sometimes its' own citizens are malnourished and unable to access the foods without trespassing on farms. Our goal is to provide for these folks, as much as possible...

So, after an amazing 7 years operating the Temple Qinesis Gym in northern New Jersey, I finally made my dream come true and invested in a 1 hectare property in the area of Vasconia de Parrita, Puntarenas, Costa Rica. Now, I need your help taking things to the next level...

I have already planted over 200 fruit trees and counting. I need your help getting to the next step, which is adding species and organizing delivery of the produce.

Especially, focusing our efforts with the in-need local community and native populations. I will also be coordinating with local schools, churches and community centers to distribute excess food so nothing ever goes to waste. I will also hand-deliver bags of fresh produce to the homeless in central Parrita anytime I visit.

We are completely organic and use all natural compost, fertilizers and pest control. Most of which is produced naturally here on property.

A bit of history about Vasconia, Parrita:

In ancient times the land I live on here, and operate my business from, was home to the Huetar tribe, whose history and legacy is extraordinary. And, still lives on today in many ways. They provided food, tobacco and artisan products to the Aztecs and Incans as this area served as a stop along the trade routes from Kingdom to Kingdom. They were skilled in goldsmithing, biodynamic farming, and quality food preparation and natural herbal medicines.

The trouble is, the modern world is degrading the current generations appreciation for the land and the sacred nature of where they come from, who they truly are.
