Francis is an amazing boy who has a rare orthopedic condition called Arthrogryposis.  This condition has rendered him physically unable to walk, run, or stand.  However, due to a recent medical breakthrough in medical technology at Stanford Children's Hospital in Palo Alto, California there is now a surgical procedure that Francis can undergo that will enable Francis to walk for the first time at the age of 15.  This Go Fund Me page has been established to share with everyone and the world of Francis' personal challenges and positive attitude in dealing with his inability to walk or even stand.  Francis is now on a mission to get to California to have this operation on 10/23/2014.  Francis needs    The support and encouragement from his family, friends, a people who are willing to donate for an awesome cause of Francis being able to achieve his primary goal of being able to stand upright and take his first steps....
Insurance only covers 80%.   Unfortunately, this is a long and expensive trip to go from Florida to California for 6 weeks to 6 months for pre-op and post-op aggressive physically therapy.

Update:  Francis had his surgery and is on the road to recovery.  6 weeks of no weight bearing while his tendons muscles and ligaments mend and heal.  THEN it's 4 to 6 months of physical therapy to learn how to walk.  Yayyyyyy!  We are still in need of your generous and kind assistance.   Donations are charitable and go along way to help out this amazing young man!  Thank you and God Bless you all!
