Forsaken Frontier: Ukraine Documentary Film Fund

My name is Finn Boylan.

 

I am an Irish documentary filmmaker and run my own company FinnHouse Films.LTD.

I am raising money through the platform for my company Finnhouse Films.LTD to support the production needs of making our first feature Documentary Forsaken Frontier.

I spent 5 month in UA from March 12 2022 making a feature documentary chronichling the Irish experience in Ukraine, showcasing that nothing is stronger than the heart of an Irish volunteer

 

So far I have witnessed and captured history & the Irish stories in action from the battle of Kyiv, the liberation of Buche and the counteroffensive in Mykolyaiv Oblast. And the meat Grinder that is Bakhmut. 1 year into production we are still on track to finish producing it.

All the money raised will go directly into financing the filming and post production costs. Including cost of transportation in Ukraine with translators and fixers on the ground. While post production costs include finances allocated to editors composers and colour graders as well as subtitles translators. Any remaining funds will go towards footage license agreements for support or achieve footage required in the film.
