Please donate to the Mountain View Players!

Hello all artists, actors, creatives, and friends of the Mt View Players! We need your help today to help us produce and perform our new show, "At Last, I Found... " on July 15 and 16 at the Community Arts Network (CANO) Oneonta, NY. We hope to reach our goal by July 17 and with your help we will!  We appreciate any donation no matter how small! 

The Mt View Players are a group of truly creative actors, writers, and artists based in Oneonta, New York.

This group includes members of the Mt View Wellness Center, RSS as well as a variety of artists and players from all over the Southern Tier of New York. What is unique about The Mt View Players is, that they always create and perform original theater pieces, which combine mime, acting, mask theater, live music, and a lot of comedy!

I am Barbara Gregson a theater director, theater artist, and author, directing the Mt View Players' new show along with musician Eric Porter. I have been directing and collaborating with them on their shows since 2014 and with Eric Porter since 2016. We recently performed two shows ("Waiting For . . ." and "Song of Pandora") at the Red Door Church in Oneonta, NY, in June and August 2021. Since it was during COVID, we had small, intimate audiences, which moved from space to space in the building where we performed. We will do the same thing at CANO, limiting seating, to 20 people per show. I am spearheading this fundraiser because I believe in their creativity and brilliance and that audiences should see their work.

Our ticket sales are already allocated to pay for our performance space.

So, the money we raise will go to: 

• pay the rent for our rehearsal space.

• pay our artist's fees and mileage.

• production costs, including, documentation video, marketing, and PR costs.
