Food for My Family in Puerto Rico
DIRECT Aid to a FAMILY
affected by HURRICANE MARIA
My family has been left with very little. Please help me change that!
Many friends have reached out to me to see how they can help. I've talked to my family here in the states and we have decided to coordinate our efforts.

I am excited to see all the help that is being extended to Puerto Rico. And even though infrastructure is going to need severe reconstruction, and many family members have lost almost everything (if not everything) they own. Right now we are working on raising money for immediate needs, especially food and ways to cook it.
(Photo: My dad's house with no roof. Update: the walls have caved in from water damage.)
We are finalizing how to get materials to Ponce, but the money donated will be given directly to help my closest family members get access to food. Donations made past our goal will be given to my extended family and neighbors in need.
It takes $200 a month on average to feed one to two family members. Since, electricity is pretty much out, we also need propane-fueled stoves for cooking.
My Plan:
- $1,500 to my mom's family
- $1,500 to my dad's family
- every $200 on top of that goes to a family member or neighbor in need in my hometown.
THANK YOU!
