A father’s Fight Against Stage4Cancer

I met with my son’s father for the first time today since February. I gasped, broke down, and just wept in my hands when he walked into the room. I immediately couldn’t help but notice the amount of weight he had lost. It was so frightening to see my sons father in that physical state. 
We found out that Torrance has been diagnosed with stage 4 gastric cancer and it’s very serious. At this time it is inoperable and the cancer has spread to the liquid in his stomach, the doctors recently removed 14 liters of fluid from his abdominal cavity. This means his intestines and organs were floating in the cancer infected fluid, which is what makes it so deadly and scary.
We both agree that coming together for our son’s sake and to help support Torrance’s fight to get healthy is the priority right now. He is extremely ill and I promised to do everything I can to help him be comfortable, to spend time with our son, and to support him in his time of need.
This is all obviously very shocking and has all of us looking deep in our hearts for forgiveness, understanding, and peace with what has passed. Please keep us in your mind and hearts, if anyone has any information they can share that might help. Donations to Torrance for our son would be a great deal of help; it could be gastric friendly meals, diapers for amias, or even some money for his doctor bills... he’s out of work right now for the rest of the year right now to try and focus on getting him well. We would all be so grateful for your help. I am working as much as I can but my job also has me exposed to people while being out. After his chemo starts I will be severely limiting my contact with others, even more so than I already have been, to help keep him safe. He has a lot of testing coming up, which includes cat scans, pet scans, invasive surgery, blood work, chemotherapy, and genetic testing that will give us insight as to our sons future. We obviously are going to fight as hard as we can so our baby can say daddy kicked cancers a**!!!!! 
Our son deserves to have a healthy father by his side as he grows up and I intend on doing everything I can to help him get better and stay strong. Please send love , pray to whatever you believe in .. anything. We all could use it right now. ❤️
