Dear Brothers and Sisters,
We are sure you are all aware of the situation in Ghouta, Syria. Our brothers and sisters are suffering and we all need to come together and help them. If you feel like you are helpless like we have been feeling, then this is a unique opportunity to help them.
Myself and brother Fazarnoor Zaman have formed #FeedGhouta to raise funds to send food supplies to Ghouta, Syria. We will be working in collaboration with Aid Convoy ( www.aid-convoy.org.uk). Our aim is to raise £3,000 to send the following food supplies;
Tinned Foods - Chick Peas, Kidney Beans and Vegetable Soup.
Dry Foods - Porridge Oats, Rice, Pasta, Nuts and Dry Milk Powder.
Baby Items - Powdered Baby Milk and Baby Food.
Aid Convoy have agreed to pay the costs of the container and delivering of the container to Ghouta, Syria.
Beneficiary and food delivery details
All the funds which we collect will be given to Aid Convoy (Charity Reg: 1149015). We have worked with Aid Convoy on previous projects such as www.gofundme.com/Iftar1000 and found this charity to be the most reliable and truthful.
Aid Convoy will then purchase the food from their designated suppliers. The food will then be loaded on to a container on approximately 05 April 2018 and taken by lorry to be shipped to Turkey, a lorry will then deliver the container Ghouta, Syria.
Donation Options:
1. You can contact us if you wish to donate via a direct bank transfer or if you want to pay in cash. This way we can ensure that 100% of your donation goes directly towards purchasing food.
2. You can make a donation via this GoFundMe page however please be aware that GoFundMe fees apply. Please refer to the GoFundMe fee section for further details.
