Villa Michelle Animal Shelter is a non-profit organization operated by APAYPA (Asociación Pro Albergues y Protección de Animales) at Mayagüez, Puerto Rico. At present, the shelter is operating at its maximum capacity of 400 animals. Annually, the shelter receives more than 12,000 animals between dogs and cats. Unfortunately, most of them must be euthanized due to lack of adopting families. In order to save their lives an alliance has been established with the Second Chance Animal Shelter in Brookfield, Massachussetts; where eager loving families await to adopt our animals. In order to reach our goal, we request your help and financial support to cover transportation costs. We intend to reach a monthly minimum goal of transporting 50 pets to Brookfield, Massachussetts where they will find love and a permanent home. Please join us, get involved and become part of the solution in our journey to give these Puerto Rican fury friends a “Second Chance” for a new life. Thank You!!
El Albergue de Animales Villa Michelle es un albergue de animales operado por la organización sin fines de lucro, Asociación Pro Albergue y Protección de Animales (APAYPA) y localizado en Mayagüez, Puerto Rico.
Actualmente el Albergue está operando a su capacidad máxima de 400 animales. Anualmente recibimos sobre 12,000 animales entre gatos y perros. Lamentablemente muchos tienen que ser eutanizados por falta de familias que los adopten. Para salvarles la vida a estos seres hemos formado una alianza con el Second Chance Animal Shelter en Brookfield, Massachusetts. Allí personas listas y deseosas de adoptar a nuestros perros y gatos aguardan. Es por esto que necesitamos urgente tu apoyo y caridad para poder costear los gastos de transportación aérea. Nuestra meta es enviar un mínimo de 50 mascotas por mes a Brookfield, Massachusetts en donde podrán tener amor y una familia para siempre. Por favor ayúdanos a ser parte de la solución . Necesitamos tu cooperación para brindarles una segunda oportunidad de vida a nuestros perros y gatos.
