Ironman for at-risk youth in Guatemala!

Gabriel's campaign is about raising awareness and funds for a great cause, the Extraordinary Guatemalans Organization helping at-risk youth in Guatemala, through his journey to complete the 2013 Cozumel Full Ironman Triathlon!
I am hoping to raise US $1,500 (around $10 for each mile of the Ironman triathlon), to support the kids through this great organization! In exchange for your support for these kids, I will commit to completing a swim, bike and run (and crawl if needed) through a total of 140.6 miles on Dec. 1 2013!
Extraordinary Guatemalans (Guatemaltecos Extraordinarios) is a non-profit organization, founded by my extraordinary friend Juan Carlos Molina David, providing hope and opportunities for at-risk youth and their families, living in extreme conditions in Guatemala City. Many of these youth with great potential, are seen as a challenged cause and neglected by our society, due to their limited options for development and involuntary/forced involvement in gangs, drugs, etc.
To be able to change a kids life, they get to know fully and deeply each of their young members along with their families, thereby developing and implementing a customized healing and improvement Plan. The association was formed in 2011 and based on its merits, has received funding twice from USAID.
The incredible stories about change, positive impact and future hope from these kids thanks to Juan Carlos and his organization, is why I want to leverage my Ironman journey to promote this wonderful cause!
