Think of a time someone helped you or you helped someone: a family member, a friend, a friend of a friend, or a complete stranger. What if we could all get that help and authentic connection right away, day or night?
Have you ever needed help, but sometimes don’t have access to anyone in your network, professional services are too expensive, or you can’t find what is applicable to you with a search engine? Sometimes you just want to connect with someone one-on-one who has the experience or knowledge you need to help you solve whatever issue is at hand.
Evolve Help enables people to connect and help one another quickly using our collective wellspring of strengths and life experience, which traditional jobs don’t always value or use. Something that is easy for you would be invaluable help to someone else. Likewise, someone else could have the knowledge you seek in any category. From a do-it-yourselfer who can walk you through how fix anything to the latest recommendations from a local who lives where you are planning a trip or someone who successfully handled a crisis you are now going through, the types of knowledge available are endless.
Our mobile and desktop app, Evolve Help, connects people for quick, authentic, and affordable help and the helpers get paid. We have raised $50,000 so far (yay!) and only have $40,000 to go to start developing the minimum viable product (a full prototype) that we can beta test early next year.
Any amount would be helpful and make a difference toward our goal of developing the prototype. Both founders have had careers in marketing and technology and want to use their skills, experience, and heart to make a BIG difference. Rebecca P. Cohen, a yogi, and Shannon Smith, an animal rescuer, have been working on this for a year without pay and the developers are lined up to start working.
We need your help to close our funding gap so that helpers like you can start using the simple mobile and desktop app and help more people in the world with your strengths and life experience.
