Let’s Give Eunice One Less Thing to Worry About

My only sister, Eunice, was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). She had to go through intensive chemotherapy treatments for about 13 months. It was hard to see her in so much pain unable to enjoy the social life she used to have. Luckily, she is a strong woman and she powered through the intensive chemotherapy until early this year, thanks to an outpouring of emotional support from people around her.

She got a job offer and she was excited to start her new life. More importantly, she was happy to have a steady income and social life again since it had been almost two years with neither.

During her regular check-up, the doctor told her that her condition has relapsed.
This means that she will have to go through an even more intensive chemotherapy, as well as a bone marrow transplant and a potential radiation treatment.
The process is expected to last at least six months, and possibly beyond an year.
Today,
I am asking you something Eunice will never ask.
Please help my only sister Eunice to focus on her treatments and not get stressed over the bills she will need to pay.
If you know Eunice, she is very tough about spending money on herself. However, she does not hesitate to share her resources with other people. She did not even mention or ask me for money throughout the whole process.
We are lucky enough to have great insurance and great doctors. However, not working for 2+ years and spending all her money on rent, food and transportation is a burden for her (again, she did not mention a single word to me about this).
Here is the breakdown of the goal I have setup for the next year:
Rent and Utilities ($1,500/month X 12 months = $18,000/year)
She lives in a two bedroom with two roommates on the Upper East Side, New York. It is not a cheap area but it is important to stay in since that is where the hospital is located.
Food ($372/month X 12 months = $4,464/year)
Just like her first treatment, my mother and I will be trying to cook for her as much as possible. However, from time to time, she will need to order in due to our schedule. I have estimated $12 a day.
Transportation ($300/month X 12 months = $3,600/year)
Her condition does not allow to take public transportation due to her very low immune system. An Uber ride from home is about $15 per ride, 10 round trips to the hospital per month for one year.
Once her treatments are completed and once she is fully recovered, the remaining money will be donated to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (www.lls.org)
