My name is Erin. I have a BIG DREAMS for the work I want to do in the world. And, I need your help getting there. ***I am raising money for TUITION to continue my studies in Dance, Authentic Movement Expression and Deep NAture Connection. ***
I am:
a teAcher,
a DanCeR ,
a helping hand,
a weaver of baskets and songs,
a lover,
an herbalist,
a friend and a deeply tender-hearted one,
a bold leader and fierce advocate,
an artist and songstress,
a volunteer,
and a healer,
And that is not all of me.
I have spent the last 20 years of my life collecting experiences and skills in a wide range of areas - Nature connection, survival, plant medicine, dance, counseling, early childhood education, and much more.
I am taking my work as a teacher to the next level: Integrating my work in Nature connection/Herbalism with my work with Open Floor International dance/movement.
In fall of 2015, I moved to California to participate in the Weaving Earth Adult Immersion program and to Study with Open Floor International and the amazing team of teachers in the Bay Area. I plan to integrate my studies: teaching others how to come in to deep relationship with themselves, the natural world, and the mystery/spirit in order to live as embodied, awakened and fully alive HUMANS.
I need the support of my community in order to full DIVE in to this learning process.

Let me tell you about my DREAM for my life's work and why I need both these educational opportunities to support me.
I plan to develop a body of work - therapeutic work - that builds off the work I am already doing as an Herbalist and Plant Medicine Teacher - that supports children and their families in awakening their innate human intelligence: the unfolding into our most vibrant selves. Work that is rooted in the body and connected to rhythms and patterns of the natural world. I will do it through dance, art, nature and play: by combining Conscious Dance, Music, Plant Medicine, Nature connection, Movement Therapy, Evolutionary Psychology and Somatic Experience Therapy.
I am committed to social justice, deconolonization and and anti-oppression in my work.
I will serve educators, parents, teachers, children, childcare providers to support children. I will work in
LGBTQ communities, support people of color, bring this work to neighborhoods and communities of people who don't have privilege and access to the resources of these kinds of transformational work.
A wise person once told me that the best gift I can give myself is to ask myself every night "When did I feel most alive today?" and to wake in the morning and ask "How will I offer my gifts to the world today?" I have been doing this practice off and on for years with boundless wisdom unfolding. *This* DREAM that I am pursuing and asking you to support with these funds is the picture my heart and mind painted from those daily answers.
It's big work, and I have BIG passion about doing it.

It's not been easy to reach out and ask for help with this. But, my heart keeps returning to one truth: I will give back to my community more than I have received. My heart knows that this is the path I want to follow.
