The Erik Brennan Fund

This past week has been one of the hardest that we have ever dealt with.  We had to say goodbye to our best friend and the singer and songwriter of our band.  We had so many hopes, so many dreams, so many late night conversations of what our next move should be, and now we deal with the loss that has devastated both us and so many other people.

We speak for ourselves and for Erik’s family when we say thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the outpouring of love and support that all of you have given us.  It was really touching and it is helping us get through this difficult time.

 So many people have had so many great memories of Erik and felt such a deep connection with him, that it only makes sense in our minds to host a gathering after his mass.  It is extremely important to us and his family that everyone that knew Erik joins together in good company to both mourn and also reflect on the great times and memories in order to help give all of us some sort of closure and peace.

 The funds raised with this GoFundMe page will be used to help Laurie, Pat and Jess defray the cost of this gathering, with the majority of the funds being used toward what drove Erik to keep fighting so hard this past year which was the debut Kue The Sun album, including recording, distributing and promoting his final work.  It will also be used to make merchandise (shirts, stickers, posters, etc.) that we will sell in order to help keep Erik’s legacy going strong.

 We appreciate any sort of donation, and again, we thank you so much for being with us during this time.  It means the world to us.
