Chasing Dreams and Racing in Europe

My name is Eric Losak and I am following my dreams to become a professional cyclist and ultimately to go to the 2016 Olympics. I am moving to The Netherlands in two months to race for D.R.C de Mol www.drcdemol.nl, one of the oldest cycling teams in The Netherlands. My flights are booked for March 13th through July 1st when I will return to Madison, Wisconsin for Elite Nationals. With your help, I hope to chase dreams this year to turn professional by the end of season and race in the World Championships by 2014. Right now, I am seeking any kind of help that you can provide in order to pay for rent and food while in Europe. I am estimating that a realistic budget needed for rent, food and travel to/from races will be close to €1000 per month (approx. $1300). As a donor to my cause, I will send you postcards and personal thank-yous on my blogposts so that everyone can know who help me along the way to realizing my dreams.

I will have a website set up soon where anyone interested can follow my adventures. In addition, I will be using a Garmin 500 so I can upload my race files and a gopro so I can post race highlights.I am planning on living in either Dordrecht where the team is based out of, or Breda, the next large city south, and will update on my adventures in Europe!
