IDF's Journey to Italy

In the 1st quarter of 2014, IDF (www.idfutbol.com) was invited to take a U11 boys team to England, to play matches against youth academies of the professional soccer clubs such as Manchester City FC, Peterborough FC and Norwich City FC. The team competed very well and showcased the work that IDF does in the Triangle area. As a result, IDF teams have been recognized further through an international invitation to participate in the San Marino Cup (Italy) - www.sanmarinocup.com in July 2015.

IDF will journey with two teams (U13 & U14) to San Marino to play against top competition from around the world. This is an incredible and special opportunity for me as a player as I have an opportunity of traveling to Italy and playing soccer against internationally recognized clubs and teams.

IDF is a relatively small club (~50 players) compared to other soccer clubs in the Triangle (2,000-10,000 players). As such, external financial and material support from my family, friends and business organizations are important to help me accomplish my objective of participating on this trip with IDF.

Your financial support will help defer the cost of travel, lodging and meals. This will also help me and my IDF Teammates represent our club (IDF), state (NC) and country (USA) in Italy this coming summer.
