Emmitt Kellers Van

Hello, my name is Josie.  The adorable 5 1/2 year old in this picture is my son Emmitt.  Emmitt has Monosomy 1P36, Epilepsy and is developementally disabled.  He is currently using a wheelchair, but our goal is that he will learn to walk.  He certainly is determined.  His condition may have slowed him down, but nothing is going to stop this little man.  The SUV we currently have is on its last leg, and a van is more practical for Emmitts carseat and wheelchair.  Emmitt receives SSI and we have lived within a very tight budget for years.  I have saved $2000 towards a down payment.  I stay home to provide for Emmitts needs.  With no employer it is difficult to get a loan, however the car dealer says that with a $4000 dollar down payment I could finance the remaining purchase price.  My goal is to raise $2000 to add to the down payment.  I just want to know that my son is safe when we travel.  Please help us meet our goal.  We thank you!
