Our Work in the Peruvian Andes

Thank you friends for visiting this campaign. This is a sincere work, an ongoing living project that has recently taken a new and wonderful turn with the launch of our new location in Pisaq. What follows is the current campaign.

Greetings Amigos! We have come a long way, and now, just a couple of months after slowly, finally opening the doors of our new location here in Pisaq,  we reach out for your help.

Though I would love to think that someone might be able to just come along and help us reach our campaign goal, that is a bit of a lofty hope. :)

So, the initial goal is just from the current total of the campaign: (We are re-launching this campaign which had reached$2,555) to as high as we possibly can. The first five thousand dollars will all go into just recent deficits and current maintainance, to keep us alive and afloat for the next few months.

That is the priority, to stay alive, so we can continue, and eventually thrive. By implimenting this plan of financial sustainability.

The next goal is fixing the maloka so we can begin to do workshops, gatherings, ceremonies, and circles in our sacred temple, the Secret Garden, just outside of Pisaq.

That will be a profit center as well as a many leveled service to several levels of community here.

The next goal will be to launch our  website, our natural products lines,  our online Peruvian Woven Items store for the North American Market, local tourism, Macchu Pichu tourism, other journeys and offerings along with healing and body work.

And all the while our friends are buying our products or services, or journeying with us throughout Peru, they are funding the projects for the local people.

This adddresses a major need, unfulfilled within the rich marketplace of Pisaq, Cusco, and the Sacred Valley, and that is genuine and effective ways to give back. It's such an all out business environment, and people don't have a way to connect with the local people so much in a real and effective way.

Our clients and customers will know that is exactly what they are getting... the best quality of whatever item they are purchasing, and inherent Ayni, reciprocity.

It makes one's journey, one's massage, one's delicious natural treat, all that yummier knowing you are truly helping the local people while enjoying yourself at the same time.

This campaign will allow us to make initial purchase of bulk incredients for our natural products (along with packaging),  purchase a store house of natural medicines and supplies, pay our workers, take care of our media and legal costs, pay for 3 months for our store manager and other workers, open two bank accounts with small reserves, legal fees, and on our land: build a floor and fill in the roof in our cabin, fix the leaks and ceiling in our Maloka, and Install electricity.

Even small donations are hugely appreciated and will keep it trending and show others our support.

Here's the exact breakdown:
* 4.000 initial bulk supplies of whole food items to repackage and process into items for our natural snack, food and body care products. (Much direct from a source in the jungle).
* $4,000 Other Natural Ingredients to create own product lines, including machinary for production.
* $3,000 Natural Medicines
* $1000 Packaging and Labels.
* $2,000 Store Manager, teachers, workers and electric bill for 3 months.
* $1,300 Cabin Floor and Fixing Roof (already almost done we owe them the money having only paid for materials. Just being completed this week).
* $2,000 Maloka Ceiling Repair and Leaks
(To then begin workshops and day time retreats)
* $500 Electric Installation on Land
* $2000 Media
* $2000 Legal Costs
* $5,000 small cushion to sustain us to the point where we are self funding completely from profit, canceling out all expenses and creating a successful business.

Fulfilling this campaign will not only allow us to launch into our full financial sustainability, but simultaneously launch our project for the elders/abuelitos, an after school/activities program for children and youth as  an alternative to video games and marbles (this is a huge program we are doing as a collaboration with the local village government/municipio starting in July), alternative snacks for the children (to get them off all the artificial crap they are eating now from the stores), including implimenting a natural alternative program in the local schools, a recycling program, and much more that we have planned, and have been patiently waiting to implement.

This will be the first time in  8 years we have ever tried anything like this. But we have to now, and we can do it.

We will still, through our soon to be new website, be able to recieve donations, as well as locally, but we will not depend on them to maintain, at the very least, our base line projects and existence.

On top of that, future donations will all go 100% directly to the infrastructure projects in the Mountain Communities and in Pisaq. Right now, donations will go toward our own economic infrastructure, with the intention of creating a viable and quality business, in order to fund our sustainability. And never ever have to ask for a donation again.

It's going to be a total upgrade and up-branding, so that we have multiple products and services being offered all the time, through our store here in Pisaq, our online presence with storefront,  and on our land.

All of these, in our new model, creates not only service to others, but sustainable income to enable this to even happen, and actually continue into the future, without depending at all on donations. It's sink or swim, and this is how we are going to swim.

Amistad Sagrada (Sacred Friendship) is our Non-Profit Service Organization functioning here in Pisaq, Sacred Valley, for over 7 continuous years.

Embrace Peru is the business entity that will be the umbrella for all our products, services and offerings.

Ayni Natural is our (soon to be) Natural Products line.

The is to compete in the incredible tourism marketplace of the Sacred Valley where we live, in order to create financial sustainability for the Service Projects of Amistad Sagrada, here in Pisaq, the Mountain Communities, and the Sacred Valley.

We intend to get off the donor based model that non-profits have traditionally sustained themselves with, through conscious, win-win-win, co-collaborative  businesses.

This campaign is the most essential, prioritized campaign I could create. It  is simply to get us to the next level, of a thriving launch of our new location in Pisaq.

I am 100% positive that once we launch and people see what we are actually doing here and what this vision is in manifest form, that all the support we could ever dream of will come.

And more.

That has been my approach this whole time, to show by example. Now we are ready to lift off, and the most amazing people are showing up in resonance with this vision, to help make it happen.

I have already built a completely unique level of social connectivity and friendship here in my village. That is the foundation of our work. We are not outsiders doing a "project" to help people we don't know.

I live here. I am part of my village. I am known throughout Pisaq and the Mountain Communities in a way completely unique in the area. These are my friends and the community that I am part of now.

Once we open, in very early April, this will all become visible for the world to see. I am being contacted by so many people already, increasingly over these 7.5 years of continuous work and life here, who want to connect in and participate.

But the secret, the real magic to this, is about to become very evident.

I will update this campaign soon, but just wanted to get this started, as the moment is now.
