24 Hour Easter Eggathon for the NHS!

As you may already know, I’m Al Garnsworthy, and I run The Chocolate Society in Bruton, Somerset. It’s been a worrying time for small businesses, but against the odds, we’ve been absolutely blown away by your generous support and your continued custom. So, in light of this and in support of our incredible key workers, we’re working alongside Heroes to give a little back.
We aim to raise £500 for Heroes which is a fledgling organisation, aiming to support our NHS. They provide necessary food and gifts to key workers working on the front line. To find out more about Heroes, you can visit their website here
In order to raise funds, We're holding a sponsored ‘Easter Egg Marathon’. Sarah, Shelley, Char and I will be working flat out, as fast as we can, in the factory for 24 hours. The aim of the game is to make as many Easter Eggs as we possibly can between us. Every single egg that we make will be donated to the NHS via Heroes as a small token of our appreciation for the hard work and compassion they show every day, but particularly in such a challenging climate.
We can really make a difference if we work together, so this is where you come in. We hope you’ll support our marathon, and pledge whatever you can afford to Heroes to further bolster our contribution to such a national asset at a really difficult time.
On a normal day, we believe that we can make around 400 eggs, so we’re going to try our absolute best to blow this estimate out of the water.
As an ‘eggstra’ little incentive, you could win a 12 month subscription to The Chocolate Society’s Box of the Month simply by guessing how many eggs we’ll produce.
To enter, simply email hi@chocolate.co.uk with your guess. The closest guess to the actual total wins!
The competition ends 12pm Thursday 9th April.
