Dream. Plan Do. is a nonprofit organization who's purpose is to inspire others to overcome their circumstances and live to their highest potential. In other words, We help make your personal and professional dreams come true!
Our first initiative is an employment support program dedicated to serving the Intellectual and developmentally disabled community. Our other programs range from career & personal development to community service. Our mission is to give our community the tools it needs to be inspired to over and live well.
Our employment program, called Empower is giving the folks that society has, for the most part, discarded to the side and labeled "unqualified" in the work force... the folks who are told to settle for a life of no ambition because others can't see their potential.
This program opens doors for our developmentally disabled brothers and sisters by giving job training, guidance, and just sheer belief that they have the potential to have jobs and careers like everyone else.
Up until now I have personally funded the program, but to sustain it, this is where I ask for your help! We need your donations for:
1. Administrative and operational costs:
Lease/Rent Payment for space and Insurance
2. Utility bills: Electricity, Internet Service, telephone, Documentation software
3. Office Supplies
If you're unable to give financially, there are other ways to help: we need volunteers, laptop computers, a business laser printer and standing white board.
Please help us redefine “dis-Ability" by creating a more diverse workforce. I really appreciate your help! Your support literally means that we can keep the doors open for and the lights on for the next couple of months :)
