Eleanor D. Smith Funeral Expenses

As funeral directors, we often assist numerous individuals who pass under the worst of circumstances.
Eleanor D. Smith passed on September 2, 2015 due to injuries sustained in auto-pedestrian accident. Eleanor was homeless and the police departments have not been able to locate any family for her. Probate Court appointed a Public Administrator to authorize cremation for Eleanor in January 2016.
We have learned that Eleanor's mother is buried at Mt. Sinai Cemetery in Port Huron. We would like to see that Eleanor's final resting place be with her mother.
Vick Funeral Home provided the cremation arrangements and legal filing requirements as we often do with individuals like Eleanor. However, other expenses exsist to open and close the grave, provide a permanent burial urn/vault, committal services, a grave marker and installation of marker.

We would like to host a public memorial event in the Spring of 2016 at the cemetery. Your donation of any amount will help provide in death, what Eleanor missed during her lifetime - dignity and honor.
