Kya Abernathy, my granddaughter( Nakato Blair), has been nominated for academic recognition as a Delegate representing the State of Delaware at the Congress of Future Science and Technology Leaders to be held
June 29 through July 1, 2018 in Boston, Massachusetts.
The Congress of Future Science and Technology Leaders is a highly selective National Program honoring academically superior high school students dedicated to careers in science, technology, engineering or math.
Kya has been selected for recognition because of her outstanding academic record and leadership potential as well as her desire to contribute the talents God gave her to the field of Science and Technology.
Our excitement over this extraordinary honor for Kya is astounding. We, her family, support her desire to attend this nomination and will contribute all we are able, however, we do need help paying the fees required as well as the trip to and from Boston Mass from Delaware. Kya's mother ( Alicia Abernathy, my daughter) must attend with her ,therefore, our desire to send them both requires help from friends and family!
We must adhere to all the preparations and the funds must be raised and paid for by March 14, 2018!

All donations will cover every aspect of this once in a lifetime opportunity for Kya which she truly deserves!
She is the child you don't have to make go to school or do homework. She is focused, driven and her college dream is Stanford University in Northern California for Medicine. Kya IS a Doctor. She has always known that and has been on a plan toward her God-given purpose and destiny since she was a small child.
Attending the conference, asking Nobel Prize Winners questions and being amongst students of like destiny, will be amazing and inspiring for her!
Meeting the representatives from college
